Post-Mortem: Quinten Quietly Quits

As my alliteration heavy title suggests, Quinten "Q stick" Lynch has decided to move on to bluer pastures (Carlton probably), where he can see out his remaining days looking tough, throwing away his gloves and being a stunt-double for Zachary Quinto.

That may sound rather bitter, but I'm not and I assume most other Eagles fans aren't either. For, although he was a vital cog in the 2006 Premiership, especially in the Grand Final with (I believe) 4 majors, he is now somewhat of an afterthought. Kennedy, Darling, Cox/NicNat are all better tall forward options. He is 29 and probably would've struggled to gain a spot next year with a full list.

The fact that other teams are actually interested in Lynch is more of an indication of how poor they are rather than him being a force.

Still, he played 209 games for the club and helped us win a premiership.
....
Bye.
